GDP | PROCESS ENGINEERING

The group of Chemical Engineering (GDP) has a specific expertise in the following topics :

  • Thermodynamic modeling of complex systems including electrolytes solutions.
  • Combustion (thermochemistry, chemical kinetics, detailed kinetics mechanisms, chemical hazard).
  • Physical-chemistry of gas hydrates and of porous materials.
  • Experimental and theoretical thermophysics.

Most of the applications are related to the energy sector (H2 as energy vector, CO2 capture, natural gas treatment, new fluids for cold transportation, ) but extend to various others industrial problems (Hydrometallurgy, process risks, etc.).

SOR | MULTICOMPONENT REACTIONS AND HETEROCYCLIC CHEMISTRY

We are currently developing new methodologies in organic chemistry. Our research focuses on the development of multicomponent reactions and heterocyclic chemistry involving mainly isocyanides and hydrazones. We have developed various projects in organometallic chemistry as well -metatheses, palladium or copper-catalyzed processes...

SCPI | COLLOIDAL SYSTEMS IN INDUSTRIAL PROCESSES

The SCPI research group (Systèmes Colloïdaux dans les Procédés Industriels) is a laboratory of the « Centre des Matériaux » at Mines ParisTech. Its activity concerns the precipitation in aqueous solution, that is formation of solid phase from highly supersaturated solution species.
